Aerospace FD& T stress Engineer

Our client a major supplier to the aerospace industry requires an experienced Fatigue & Damage Analysis engineer who is familiar with structural mechanics, fatigue and fracture mechanics.

You should be able to communicate at a high level & interface with the chief engineer, our customers team & their suppliers, as well as handle materials & processes, manufacturing, structural test labs, flight test, and military qualification authorities.



- Provide support in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis of composite and metal structures

- Support the development of new components/structure (primary & secondary)

- Maintain a consistent work flow of report handling & presentations

- An ability to undertake stress calculations provide clear & concise reports.

- Good working knowledge of Nastran and Patran.

- Can act as an approval signatory for Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT)

- Must be a proficient user with Nasgro*

-  Report critical technical issues to the technical lead/manager


Preferably an Aeronautical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent


Languages: English, German is a plus
