Resident Catia V5 Electrical Design Engineer opportunity
(Long term project- Munich and Detroit)

Our client a large tier one supplier in South Germany requires a Resident Catia v5 Electrical engineer to work in Munich and Detroit.
We are looking for a minimum of 5-10 years experience in automotive prototype hybrid vehicle design.

Tasks
Deliver the design/ planning of electrical looms & wire bundles
Provide future processes, methods and applications to fulfil business requirements in house and with customers and suppliers
Check routings in accordance with customer requirements
Co operate with in-house team applying CAD, PDM support to ensure design meets customer requirements
Provide expertise to the team problem solving & developing new prototype wiring
Support the transition to new processes and applications by information, presentation, training and key users.

Qualifications
Degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant education.
• Practical Experience in CATIA V5 electrical harness installation
• knowledge of equipment / connectors and 12 v installation would be highly beneficial.

• Car layout interior & exterior
